The 2025 International Classical Music Awards at Tonhalle Düsseldorf featured a rich program with 11 soloists, 6 conductors, the Danel String Quartet, and the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra.

Vitali Alekseenok recently led two major performances at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein within 24 hours, conducting Shostakovich’s Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk with the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker and Wagner’s Das Rheingold with the Duisburger Philharmoniker.

Shostakovich’s Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk premiered successfully at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein under Chief Conductor Vitali Alekseenok. His dynamic interpretation, along with the dedication of the orchestra, soloists, choir, and production team, brought the opera’s intensity to life.
