Deutsche Oper am Rhein Brings Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk to Life

The new production of Shostakovich’s Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk premiered successfully at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, conducted by Chief Conductor Vitali Alekseenok. Leading the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker, Alekseenok delivered a precise and dynamic interpretation of the demanding score.

The success of the production was the result of extensive preparation and the work of a highly professional team, including the orchestra, soloists, choir, and production staff.
