Vitali Alekseenok made his debut at the Teatro alla Scala today.

After weeks of intensive work with the singers, choir, orchestra and the entire production team of the theatre, today they made the world premiere of Pierangelo Valtinoni's opera Il Piccolo Principe, specially commissioned by the Teatro alla Scala.

As part of the Beethoven Festival in Bonn, the project, in which Alekseenok not only handles the work as conductor, but also conception, dramaturgy, communication and overall artistic direction, takes centre stage at this year's festival. The Campus Project with a focus on Belarus and Ukraine is a collaboration between the Beethoven Festival and Deutsche Welle, who are making a documentary about events in Belarus and Ukraine, with Vitali as one the main protagonists, who brings the two countries together in his activities.

The concerts will take place on 8 September in the former German parliament building in Bonn and on 25 October in Pierre Boulez Hall in Berlin.

On 14 August Vitali Alekseenok makes his debut at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, Italy. He conducts a symphony concert at the Teatro Rossini with the singers Giuliana Gianfaldoni and Vasilisa Berzhanskaya, together with the Orchestra Sinfonica G. Rossini.
