Vitali Alekseenok was invited as one of the eight young conductors from around the world to work with Maestro Bernard Haitink and Lucerne Festival Strings during the Lucerne Eastern Festival in March 2018. The repertoire contains works by Mozart, Weber, Brahms, Tchaikovsky and Debussy.
The Abaco Orchestra of Munich University decided to appoint Vitali Alekseenok as their new chief conductor. Among more than 60 applicants and after 3 rounds of the competition he was chosen with the majority of voices and will start his job in spring 2018.
The Abaco Orchestra, consisting of over 100 musicians, has regular concerts in multiple concert halls in Munich and other cities and cooperates closely with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra.
