As part of the Beethoven Festival in Bonn, the project, in which Alekseenok not only handles the work as conductor, but also conception, dramaturgy, communication and overall artistic direction, takes centre stage at this year's festival. The Campus Project with a focus on Belarus and Ukraine is a collaboration between the Beethoven Festival and Deutsche Welle, who are making a documentary about events in Belarus and Ukraine, with Vitali as one the main protagonists, who brings the two countries together in his activities.

The concerts will take place on 8 September in the former German parliament building in Bonn and on 25 October in Pierre Boulez Hall in Berlin.

On 14 August Vitali Alekseenok makes his debut at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, Italy. He conducts a symphony concert at the Teatro Rossini with the singers Giuliana Gianfaldoni and Vasilisa Berzhanskaya, together with the Orchestra Sinfonica G. Rossini.

On 11 June Vitali Alekseenok makes his debut at the Ludwigsburg Festival in Germany, performing a concert programme with his own dramaturgy. The concert is dedicated to the Belarusian flutist and activist Maria Kolesnikova. Works by Schubert, Barber, Takemitsu will be performed, as well as three contemporary Belarusian composers - Olga Podgajskaya, Konstantin Yaskou and a third composer, who for security reasons wishes to remain anonymous.
